Description
This book is the first volume in a documentary series “Ukraine‒Europe, 1921‒1939.” It is dedicated to the life, activities, and tragic fate of Oleksandr Shumsky (1890-1946), one of the leaders of the Ukrainian national Communism in the 1920s who was later arrested and killed by the Soviet secret police. This book has been co-published by Ukraina Moderna, supported by a Ukrainian donor Victor Rybchuk and by the Petro Jacyk Program for the Study of Modern Ukrainian History and Society at the CIUS.
